Faster updates to local business listings

Verified business listings, and you better have one on Google Places, used to always reflect only the information provided by the listing owner, even when Google received new information about an updated name, address, or hours of operation.

But now, users can update information themselves. If Google receives other information from somewhere else on the internet, listings may be automatically updated. You the business owner better be around to receive that email notification about what’s going on with your listing.
