Some eCommerce shoppers will actually abandon their purchase at the very thought that they may be missing a coupon. Just the knowledge that a coupon is out there and they’re not taking advantage of it could ruin your sale.
So what’s an online seller of any kind to do? Avoid coupons? Hardly. But remember, the point-of-sale is not the moment to fall down on the sales job.
