Topic search is now better integrated with hashtag searching in Twitter’s search functionality, according to the folks at Twitter.
That means, you no longer need to guess which accounts to follow based on the account names, but you can search based on topics as well as hash tags, and topics can be searched or browsed with varying levels of specificity to allow you to follow just Twitter users honed to your own level of interest.
