Facebook Events offer the latest in-road for ever-insidious and sometimes malicious spammers. Take a second look at any event invitation from anyone – especially from people not on your Friends list.
Be aware that serious malware has been found on pages linked from the “More Information” tab of scam invitations and encourage your friends to be vigilant in reporting it.
