Marketing Automation Time Savers

Is there simply not enough of you? Are you feeling not only overwhelmed at the mountain of tasks that lie before you daily but in addition, more than a bit afraid that things are slipping through the cracks? You’re not alone… Because of the complexity and the amount of moving parts that go into online marketing nowadays, you absolutely must employ some level of marketing automation, or you may find it tough to compete. Let’s take a look at some real time savers.

Tools For Marketing Automationmarketing automation

There are lots of great marketing automation tools that you can spend your time and money on. For our purposes, I’m going to cover three areas that can be an enormous time-suck yet have the most potential impact on your ROI.

Email Autoresponders – Possibly the most important marketing automation tool to consider.  Without employing this type of tool, you’ll have a tough time building a customer email list. Loading up your autoresponder with marketing messages allows you to give both customers and prospects alike the feeling that they are being well cared for. There are a number of great autorespsonder services available that can handle this seamlessly for you, among them AWeber, GetResponse, iContact, and my favorite, MailChimp.

Social Media – Keeping track of and running social media campaigns is often a logistical nightmare if you’re not utilizing some sort of automated tool. There are several available that allow you to keep track of all of your social media accounts in one dashboard. You can schedule posts, engage with your followers and review your campaign analytics all from within one easy to use interface. Check out HootSuite, SproutSocial and newest kid on the block, Buffer.

Automate Tasks – As we all know, there are lots of small tasks that require our attention daily. Some of the better tools to come down the pike of late are the development of task masters like IFTTT and Zapier. These tools, (similar in intent and application), can be lifesavers in regards to automating tasks between two different services. Very handy, indeed!

Make sure to not let customer and prospects slip through the cracks with all this automation. Offering responsive customer service is an important piece of business too! Check out Zendesk to help raise your customer satisfaction.
